$40K Reward For Info On Deadly Roxborough Shooting
A $40,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Tuesday's deadly shooting of five teens in Roxborough.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Authorities are offering a $40,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunmen involved in a deadly shooting outside Roxborough High School Tuesday.
The city of Philadelphia is offering $20,000 and the ATF is offering an additional $20,000, officials said at a news conference Wednesday.
Authorities said they are looking for five juveniles in dark clothing who shot at least 64 rounds at the five victims at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 4700 block of Pechin Street in Roxborough.

The gunmen parked on the block and waited about six minutes before getting out of a light-colored Ford Explorer and opening fire on the victims who were walking on the sidewalk.
Nicholas Elizadle, 14, of Havertown was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at 5:09 p.m. at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Four others, ages 14 to 17, suffered various injuries. All were taken to various hospitals and are in stable condition, police said.
Police believe at least one of the victims was targeted, as other teens walked past the vehicle the gunmen were waiting inside before jumping out and firing.

One of the gunmen was seen on video chasing a 17-year-old victim and shooting at him.
The victim was struck and fell to the ground, that's when the gunman stood over the victim and fired more shots at him.
Police said he only stopped shooting due to running out of rounds or his gun jammed.
