'Commedia Cindarella' Arrives In Manayunk

Manayunk Theatre Company presents: The Commedia Cinderella! A kids holiday show!

The Commedia Cinderella is a comic retelling of the classic Cinderella fairy tale perfect for families of all ages. This version of that beloved tale is brought to life in the commedia dell’arte style by a vagabond cast of characters: Columbine, Arlequin, Punchin and Rosetta. These traveling Italian actors bring to life this trunk show with the addition of a Holiday Ball! We encourage all to BYOB (Bring your own blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or whatever else you need to get comfy)! Featuring a zany combination of comedy and slap stick, this hilarious production is sure to be a delight for children and adults of all ages.

Hosted as part of Manayunk.com’s Holiday extravaganza, this show will accompany local shops hosting crafts before and after the show. Highlights include: Pictures with Santa, Story time from The Spiral Bookcase and making ginger bread houses with help from Sweet Elizabeth’s.

Dates: December 12th @ 2PM, 13th @ 2PM, 19th @ 11AM, and 20th @ 2PM. (run time is 50 minutes)
