This is a recreational flat water paddle of about two hours on the Schuylkill River, leaving from and returning to Philadelphia Canoe Club. We may paddle upstream to Manayunk or downstream toward Boathouse Row. Both kayaks and canoes are
welcome. Paddlers should have previous experience. You’re invited to bring your own brownbag lunch to enjoy at the Club afterward. Please contact the leader to say you are coming and let him know how to reach you if conditions necessitate cancelling. Short paddles from PCC leave the Philadelphia Canoe Club at 9:30 a.m. and return by noon. Non-members are welcome and boats/equipment are available for a $10 rental fee.
