Students explore different methods of art making, including printmaking, collage, mixed media, and watercolor. Each day, they will learn about making colors, textures, and patterns. They will also be introduced to a variety of artists through artist-inspired projects, such as Jasper Johns, Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall. Students will work with landscapes, still life, portraiture, and abstract work.
A second session will be offered July 25 and 28. Both sessions stand independently, but complement each other in content and practice.
