Lane Restrictions Planned On I-76

Lane restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 76 west in Philadelphia for highway lighting inspections, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, there will be daytime restrictions from Tuesday, July 14, through Thursday, July 16. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the right lane will be closed on I-76 west between the South Street and U.S. 1 (City Avenue) interchanges.

Drivers traveling west on I-76 are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area because slowdowns will occur. The operation is dependent on the weather.
