3rd Annual Mo Bash Planned in Manayunk

Lucky’s Last Chance in Manayunk will host its 3rd Annual Movember Mo Bash on Tuesday from 6-10pm to benefit Movember, the global charity that enlists guys (and the women who support them) to grow and groom only a moustache for 30 days during the month of November.

Manayunk neighborhood businesses are also participating in the cause by selling moustache-themed items such as moustache cookies from Sweet Elizabeth’s Bakery.

The movement helps to spark important conversations about men’s health and to raise awareness and funds to combat prostate and testicular cancer, and men’s mental health issues.

The event benefits Movember, a global organization committed to changing the face of men’s health through the power of the moustache.

Movember has funded more than 800 programs in 21 countries. Last year in Philadelphia, 5,175 participants raised nearly a half million dollars. Growing a moustache for 30 days helps to spark important conversations about men’s health and raises critical funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
