Olympic Dreams: Roxborough Family Funds to See Son in Olympics

Glenn Ochal made the 2012 Olympic rowing team; family hosts beef-and-beer.

Roman Catholic High School alum and Roxborough native son Glenn Ochal qualified for the 2012 U.S. Olympic rowing team. His family is trying to join him in London.

The Ochal family will host a beef-and-beer benefit Saturday night at , 176 Conarroe St. to raise money to see Glenn.

Lee, Anne, Kyle and Justin Ochal invite residents out to the church June 30 at 7 p.m. to send Mom and Dad to London.

Glenn Ochal, who began rowing at Roman in 2001, graduated from Princeton University in 2008. The 25-year-old has trained in Chula Visa, CA, and qualified for the Olympics in the men's four.
