Photo Contest Wants Shots of Classic Philadelphia Towns
Manayunk shutterbugs are invited to send shots of the borough to the Delaware Valley Planning Commission by April 5.

Manayunk residents already know the unique sights that sets the borough apart from the rest of the towns in the Greater Philadelphia suburbs. A new photo contest wants to help the rest of the region discover why Phoenixville is a special place to live, work and visit.
The Delaware Valley Planning Commission is accepting submissions through April 5 for its #ILoveClassicTowns contest, celebrating the 20 boroughs recognized by the commission as a classic town in the Philadelphia region.
Photos can be uploaded directly to the contest website or posted to social media sites including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using the #ILoveClassicTowns hashtag. Public voting begins April 6 and lasts until April 20. Winners will be announced May 15, with first place receiving $500, second place winning $250 and $100 for third place.
