Spiral Bookcase to Host Evening of Poetry

Poets and poetry enthusiasts are invited to the Spiral Bookcase Friday evening for an open poetry reading. 

The event, which starts at 7:30 p.m., is hosted by the Dead Bards of Philadelphia. According to its website, the Dead Bards describes itself as a metrical poetry-inspired group of poets who love language and poetry.  

Attendees are encourages to bring their original work or selections of some of their favorite pieces. 

All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
