Teen Arrested for $30K Vandalism Spree at Manayunk Park
The 15-year-old damaged lighting at Venice Island Park earlier this month, police said.
Philadelphia Police on Monday arrested a 15-year-old male who they say caused as much as $30,000 in damage to Venice Island Park earlier this month.
According to police, the suspect was caught on camera vandalizing the patio area of the recently-opened Venice Island Park in Manayunk on Nov. 8. Police said he damaged lighting located in the lawn and stair area.
The suspect turned himself in on Monday. He is charged with criminal mischief.
