Wissahickon's Valley Green Bridge Closes To Traffic
It represents one of the main ways for Roxborough and Manayunk residents to access the Park by car.

The Wissahickon’s historic Valley Green Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic for two weeks beginning Tuesday, October 20, according to the Friends of the Wissahickon.
The City of Philadelphia will be making repairs on the bridge.
The bridge will only be closed from Monday through Friday, and will remain open to vehicular traffic over the weekends.

Pedestrian traffic will be allowed to continue over the bridge throughout the duration of the project.
In the meantime, weekday drivers should use the upper Valley Green parking lot.

The Valley Green Bridge represents one of the main arteries of vehicular traffic into the Wissahickon, allowing motorists to park adjacent to Forbidden Drive near the center of the Park.
