• Fire Destroys Country Club of Meadville Clubhouse (uctoday.org) — Saegertown firefighters were among many Crawford County departments battling a massive blaze that destroyed the clubhouse at The Country Club of Meadville on Friday afternoon. Everyone inside evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported. While the clubhouse was lost, the golf course remains intact and plans are already underway to rebuild the insured facility.
