Athleta Coming to Promenade Shops

An up-and-coming women's clothier that specializes in yoga and fitness apparel will open in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley this summer, according to a sign now covering the storefront it will occupy.

Athleta, which is part of the Gap family of stores, "offers women's yoga clothing, swimwear, running clothing and athletic clothing for fitness, golf and tennis," according to its website. Athleta's goal is "to be the ultimate source of performance apparel and advice for active women."

The company is also hiring employees to staff its new Upper Saucon Township location, the sign says.

The company's other stores in Pennsylvania are located in King of Prussia and Philadelphia.
