Books for Sale?

It’s no secret – your public library is one of the best bargains in town!  But did you know that in addition to books for borrowing, the Allentown Public Library also offers books for sale?  The Booksale Room is filled with books of all types – best-sellers, romance, classics, children’s books and more!  And the prices can’t be beat!  Hardcover/Trade Paperbacks are just $1, and Paperbacks/CDs are just $.50!  All proceeds benefit the Allentown Public Library.

The Booksale Room is open Monday – Saturday from 12-4 PM.  Stop by often, as new books are always being added – you never know what treasures you may find!

Wednesday 10/17

• Preschool Storytime – 10:00-10:30 AM OR 6:45-7:15 PM– Weekly storytime for children ages 3-5.  Registration is required.  Please call 610-820-2400 ext. 4 to register.
• Time for Twos Storytime – 6:00-6:30 PM – Weekly storytime for 2-year-old children & a parent/caregiver.  Registration is required.  Please call 610-820-2400 ext. 4 to register.

Thursday 10/18

• Infant Lapsit Storytime – 10:00-10:30 AM - Weekly storytime for children birth to 2 years & a parent/caregiver.  Registration is required.  Please call 610-820-2400 ext. 4 to register.
• Preschool Storytime – 2:00-2:30 PM – Weekly storytime for children ages 3-5.  Registration is required.  Please call 610-820-2400 ext. 4 to register.
• Library Book Bunch – 6:30 – 7:00 PM – Story and craft program for children in grades K-3.  Registration is required.  Please call 610-820-2400 ext. 4 to register.

Friday 10/19
