The Catasauqua High School Athletic Department and the Sports Medicine Institute at Orthopaedic Associates of Allentown proudly presents an educational seminar to introduce you to facts about and how they are managed. The seminar includes experts in the field discussing various topics related to concussions including signs and symptoms of a concussion, evaluation of a concussion and diagnostic testing of a concussion.
Brain STEPS will also present that evening regarding return to school issues. Brain STEPS is working to make sure that those who must provide educational support to children with traumatic brain injuries have a good understanding of the brain injury, the resulting challenges, and supports and interventions that will help these students achieve educational success through graduation.

The seminar will be held in the Catasauqua High School Auditorium on Wednesday, December 7th beginning at 7:00pm. This seminar is free of charge and open to the public. All parents, coaches, administrators and athletes are encouraged to attend.
