4-Alarm Fire Destroys Jiffy Lube on Lehigh Street
The cause of a blaze which broke out in the Jiffy Lube on Lehigh Street on Monday afternoon remains under investigation.

A four-alarm fire with flames shooting through the roof destroyed the Jiffy Lube on the Allentown/Salisbury line Monday, according to published reports.Β
The blaze, which broke out around noon, had not been declared under control as of aboutΒ 1:30 p.m., a Lehigh County emergency dispatcher told Patch.
LehighValleyLiveΒ was reporting that byΒ 12:20 p.m., fire personnel were told to leave the car repair shop at 3111 Lehigh St. in SalisburyΒ -- one of several operations the national car repair chain has in the area.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, althoughDeputy Chief Jason Faryniak, of the Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department, told LehighValleyLiveΒ thatΒ it appears that the blaze began in a ceiling-mounted heater.
There were no reports of injuries.
