Get out: Five Things To Do This Weekend

You've got your pick of a lobster bake, a 1950s musical, a doo-wop concert, a fair for charity and meeting the Pennsylvania Honey Princess.

1. Bolete Lobster Bake

Where/When: , 1740 Seidersville Road, Salisbury Township; 2-8 p.m. Sunday.

Why Go: Three-course lobster bake meal (clam chowder, lobster, clams, mussels, and all the trimmings with dessert). You’ll smell the salt air, because co-owner Erin Shea grew up digging clams in her seaside New England hometown.

Where/When: Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1533 Hamilton St., Allentown; 7 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Hear the Del-Vikings perform their hit song, “Come Go With Me,” plus half a dozen other classic groups and classic cars from the 1950s.

4. Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Summer Festival

Where/When: Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, 2545 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem. 5:30-10:30 p.m. Thursday, 5-10:30 p.m. Friday, and 3-10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Why go: 50 years of fundraising. Juried craft show, rides, live music, chicken barbecue, potted plants, used books and attic treasures.

Cost:  Free. Wristband ride special, $12, 3-5 p.m. Saturday.

5. National Honey Bee Day

Where/When: Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Bee demonstrations and educational programs for young and old, bee walks, the Pennsylvania Honey Princess, honey tastings, plus honey and honey products from local beekeepers.
