Improv Troupe Practice for Devil's Folly Haunted Barn
Allentown Public Theatre and the Associated Mess improv troupe develop creepy characters for the Devil's Folly Haunted Barn in Salisbury Township.
A strange neighborhood butcher shop run by a creepy family with a taste for the macabre--- that's the theme for this year's Devil's Folly Haunted Barn in Salisbury Township.
Volunteers took that theme to heart last Saturday during the first of two free improv workshops that will be held at the barn. It was sponsored by the Allentown Public Theatre and the Associated Mess improv troupe to help actors develop creepy characters for the annual haunted barn that opens Oct. 7, said APT Artistic Director Joshua Neth.
"Strange noises have been reported by the neighbors and neighboring towns have reported missing persons, but no official explanation has been provided by local authorities," states The Devil's Folly web site. "Makes you wonder what they are serving up. Do you dare investigate?"
