Fair ends Labor Day with J&J Demo's annual demolition derby

The AllentownΒ FairΒ endsΒ MondayΒ with a bang. Probably quite a few of them.

After a week of concerts, theΒ fairΒ turns its grandstand over to J&J Demo, whose annual demolition derby is an end-of-fairΒ tradition.

This year’s derby adds something new to the mix: the β€œCrazy Compact Cars” race.

The crashes start atΒ 5 p.m.Β Tickets are $15, or $10 for kids under 12.

Tickets for theΒ fairΒ itself are $6 at the gate, and free for kids under 12. You can ride rides at theΒ fairΒ all day for a $15 wristband if you buy it in advance. Otherwise, it's $22.
