Why are you running for school board? I want to serve my community and help the tax paying residence in Salisbury Township by building a district that will give their students a thriving education to advance them to the future.Β  These children will be the future of Salisbury and America so we need to work to provide them with the best education possible. I will also work to provide the district employees with a safety net.Β  We have to work to have their backs since they are the backbone behind Salisbury education.

What qualifies you to serve on the board? Student at Salisbury since kindergarten.Β  Currently a proud student at Salisbury Township School District (11th grade), attending the district helps me to see the issues first hand and get a beater idea of how we can work to fix them.

What do you see as the board's primary role and responsibilities?
The boards primary role and responsibilities in my opinion would have to be working to build policies that help create a safe environment for the district students, while also creating a fun and efficient environment.Β  The board also controls the districts budget and I feel that it is important to work to build a budget that will work effectively in the district.Β  We need to make sure to avoid raising taxes and we need to fight to balance a budget while also not removing any teachers from our schools.Β  The last import issue that the board will decide on is the communities taxes.Β  We need to work not to raise the districts taxes unless we have no other options.Β

Tell us about 3 major challenges facing the school district and how you would address them. (Please be as specific as possible):

One of the big issue in the district is taxes, and I will stand with my promise not to raise your taxesΒ unless it is absolutely necessary.Β  Another issue facing our District is the teachers, with last years cuts to Salisbury employees I will fight to create a safety net for district employees, They deserve to know that they have a board member fighting for them not against them.Β  My last issue and one of the most important issues is your child's education.Β  I will work to create a safe and educational district for your children.Β  They are the future of Salisbury so we have to make sure that your tax dollars are being spent on the best education we can provide.

How is your campaign being funded? Personal Funds
