Pedal Car Show Opens Saturday at America on Wheels

America on Wheels Museum celebrates its 5th anniversary with the opening of a new exhibit Saturday, "Wonderful Woodies of Years Gone By."

The replicas of automobiles of the early 1900s were built of expensive materials and propelled by pedal mechanisms, according to the museum.

The cars on exhibit will include:

• 1927 Packard Roadster
• 1935 Steelcraft Pontiac
• 1937 Garton Lincoln Zephyr
• 1937 Steelcraft Plymouth
• 1938 Gendron Hudson
• 1938 Steelcraft Supercharger
• 1941 Steelcraft Chrysler
• 1941 Garton Woodie Station Wagon & Trailer
• 1949 Murray Torpedo

The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m.

Museum admission is $8, adults; $6, seniors; $4, ages 6 to 16; free to ages 5 and under.
