Salisbury Barber Shop To Close

The Barber Shop offered beer with its services.

The Barber Shop in Salisbury Township has operated with a unique concept for the last few years. It's where you'd go if you wanted a  trim and a quaff--- as in beer.

But now the shop at 3305 W. Emmaus Ave. will be closing,  its owner Michael Gottwald confirmed. He gave no date for when it will close. Gottwald and Richard Kroll, the former co-owner of the shop, said they are dissolving their partnership.

Gottwald also owns The Barber Shop in Upper Macungie Township (where customers can play pool or watch a flat screen TV while they wait).

Kroll said he’ll be opening a free-beer barbershop of his own on Lehigh Street in Emmaus in the near future.
