Salisbury loses championship game to Saucon Valley, 65-52

Despite hard play and great long shooting by the Salisbury boys basketball team, they could not stop the Saucon Valley team from capturing the Colonial League gold medal honors.

To counteract the height and great defense of  Saucon Valley's 6'7" senior center Eric Frans, the Salisbury team used a strategy that included long shots.  They hit four three-point shots and numerous long two-pointers.  But the Saucon team also had a strategy and managed to outscore the Salisbury boys every quarter.

Salisbury took home Colonial League silver medals for their  second-place finish.

Both teams move on to District 11 play-offs that begin February 22.
