Salisbury High School Celebrates Homecoming
Salisbury Falcon fans celebrate homecoming game against Notre Dame despite 35-7 loss.
The combination of Halloween and homecoming gave Salisbury High School football fans something to cheer about, despite the football team's 35-7 loss to Notre Dame Green Pond.Β Many fans wore their Halloween costumes to the game, including the Salisbury Falcon mascot, who dressed up as a Channel 69 sportscaster.
Halftime included presentation of the homecoming court, accompanied by their parents onto the field.Β Β The Salisbury Marching Band performed at halftime and played the musical number "Hot, Hot, Hot," whichΒ mocked the cold weather.Β Returning alumni joined the color guard for the final number.
The homecoming queen will be crowned at the homecoming dance, which has been postponed until Saturday, Nov. 5th.
