Swain School Hosts Artist Sandra Corpora

Bethlehem artist Sandra Corpora offers students an education in still life painting.

The Swain School in Salisbury Township was abuzz with the news of a talented artist at work in their building Monday. Students watched as her blank canvas came to life with vivid colors and textures.

Sandra Corpora, a Bethlehem artist whose artwork has been displayed in Italy, Canada and the United States, nestled into her position near a bright window as she allowed students to watch her paint.

Corpora plans to return to Swain in April to offer a week-long class for students in all grades as part of their art education program.
