In this hands-on beginner class, you’ll learn how to create your own Kinusaiga piece using fabric, foam, and a simple tucking technique. Be guided step by step through the entire process, from preparing your pattern and selecting fabrics to carefully tucking each piece into place and watching your design come to life. No sewing or previous crafting experience is needed. This class is designed for beginners and is a fun, relaxing way to try something completely different. You’ll leave class with your own completed piece of Kinusaiga art and the knowledge to continue creating at home.

Food & Drink/Alcohol & Substances: Food and beverages are not allowed, as this workshop is located in our first floor Gallery. You are welcome to bring a small bottle of water with a lid for hydration. Mind altering substances such as alcohol are strictly prohibited during this event. Those showing signs of intoxication from any substance will be asked to leave without refund.
