• Bridge connecting South Greensburg, Hempfield closed for repairs (triblive.com) — A key bridge linking South Greensburg and Hempfield on Broadway Avenue has closed for a full replacement project expected to last until about April, affecting daily travel for many residents. Traffic is detoured, but South Greensburg businesses near the bridge, including Morelands at Waterworks, remain open and reachable via South Broad Street Extension, and the new span will restore two lanes and add safer space for walkers and cyclists.
