of Christ, 1837 Church Rd, Allentown, PA on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 7:00 pm.

Presbyterian pastor Rev. Bill Carter, Pianist, Composer, and pastor at First
Presbyterian Church in Clarks Summit, PA; Al Hamme on Saxophones; Tony Marino,
Bassist; Ron Vincent on drums, the quartet formed in 1993 as a way to integrate
a love of jazz music with Christian faith and practice, evolving into a consort
of musicians who have been turning heads on the musical scene - and adding new
dimensions to the faith and worship of the Christian church.

Based in northeastern Pennsylvania,
they have presented concerts and jazz worship services in churches around the
country and their music has been featured in news organizations such as NPR and
The Times Tribune, Scranton,
PA. To date, The Presbybop
Quartet has recorded eight compact discs: Faith in a New KeyDancing DayFragile IncarnationStand On Your

John According to

(with biblical storyteller Dennis Dewey), Welcome Home (with
vocalist Warren Cooper), Psalms

, and Interior

.  Bill Carter spends most of his time as a busy pastor in a
bustling church who senses that God wants him to use his musical gifts as a
means of reaching people with the good news of God's grace, peace, and joy. His
jazz ministry has served as a model for integrating the arts in Christian
ministry.
