Driver Hurt as Car Falls Onto Turnpike Ramp
A New Ringgold man was injured Thursday when his car went over a Tilghman Street overpass and onto a northbound exit ramp of the Northeast Extension, South Whitehall police said.

A 44-year-old New Ringgold man was injured Thursday when his car went off a Tilghman Street overpass in South Whitehall and onto an exit ramp of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, South Whitehall police said.
Theodore Black was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Cetronia Ambulance following the crash, which occurred at 6:32 p.m.Â
South Whitehall police said Black was travelling west on Tilghman Street when, for unknown reasons, crossed over Tilghman Street in an area of the Northeast Extension. They said Black hit an embankment and went off the overpass, landing on the extension's northbound exit ramp for the Allentown interchange.
