Last Chance: Parkland Selling Rubber Ducks as Fundraiser

Goal of Parkland's Leo Club is to raise $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Zach Kraus, a Parkland student who died in 2011, and former teacher John Ritter, who died last month.

Parkland High School's Leo Club is holding a rubber duck race that aims to raise close to $10,000 in memory of  and former teacher

The club is now selling three rubber ducks for $25, which will allow purchasers to be part of the rubber duck race May19 in a section of Jordan Creek near Wehr's Dam in South Whitehall. (If you already purchased one duck for $10, you can buy two more for $15.)

Proceeds from the rubber duck sales will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Kraus' and Ritter's honor. Kraus would have graduated with the Class of 2013.
