The Paperbag: Semi-Retirement

The Paperbag storefront is closing, but the paper story isn't over—wedding invitations and custom designs continue, just in a new way. 💌

The Paperbag Update – Semi Retirement❤️

I have some bittersweet news to share — after many wonderful years, The Paperbag will be closing it’s storefront on Saturday, January 31, 2026 after 44 years of being a part of the Allentown community.

This decision wasn’t easy, but it comes with deep gratitude for all of you who have supported me, shared your stories and made The Paperbag such a special part of the community. You’ve filled the shop with laughter, creativity and friendship, and I’m so thankful for every moment.

BUT, THIS ISN'T GOODBYE!!! 💌

While our storefront doors may be closing, The Paperbag isn’t going away — I’ll continue to offer our custom invitations, stationery, holiday cards and personalized design services! You’ll still be able to work with me for weddings, events, holidays and all your special occasions — just in a new way. Look for an announcement on social media and on my email in early FEBRUARY as to where we can meet! Exciting!!!

You can reach me at paperbagonline@gmail.com or call 610.820.9959 with any questions, set up an appointment or just say hi! I will travel to you to work with you directly or meet you (see announcement coming out in early February) – just give me a call or send me an email!

You may order directly online at: https://thepaperbagonline.printswell.com, https://thepaperbag.egbreeze.c... or https://thepaperbag.carlsoncraft.com, but I’ll be available to help!

Between now and our last day in the shop (January 31, 2026) I’ll be offering special sales on in-stock merchandise only (cash or check only, please) and celebrating the memories we’ve made together. I hope you’ll stop by to say hello, share a few stories and let me thank you in person for all the love and support you’ve given me.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for being part of our story. I can’t wait to continue creating with you in this next chapter.

With love and appreciation,

Liz
