Parkland Area Soccer Club Needs Volunteers
Group put out the call for volunteers on and off the field.
The Parkland Area Soccer Club is looking for volunteers, including off the field.
According to its web site, the following volunteers are among those needed:
* Coach Committee Chair -- to lead coach committee meetings.

* Communications Coordinator -- to write articles for website and send monthly newsletters.
* Fundraising Coordinator -- to help raise money

* In-House Coordinator -- to assign teams and recruit coaches.
The Parkland Area Soccer Club is a non-profit organization that offers programs that include KinderSoccer, MicroSoccer and Travel Soccer.
The volunteer positions require varying time committments. More than 1,000 youngsters participate each fall and each spring in the programs, according to the club's website.
Most participants live within the Parkland School District and surrounding areas.
