Police Blotter: Car Break-ins

The following information was supplied by South Whitehall police.

 

The following car break-ins were among the incidents reported to South Whitehall police from June 9 to June 21:

* A battery and spark plug wires were stolen from a vehicle at Cedarview Apartments; reported at 12:19 p.m. on June 20.

* A backpack, valued at $99, was stolen from a vehicle at 1500 N. Cedar Crest Blvd.; reported at 10:59 p.m. on June 18.

* Loose change was taken from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Oxford Circle; reported at 1:18 p.m. on June 18.

* A purse and cash were stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of N. 29th Street; reported at 7:47 a.m. on June 18. The rear door window was broken.

* A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 2500 block of Russell Street; reported on June 14.

* A stereo valued at $100 was stolen from a vehicle in the Giant lot, 3070 Tilghman St.; reported at 6:47 p.m. on June 9.
