West End Yoga is Expanding Into New Studio
West End Yoga will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, with free sessions and refreshments.
West End Yoga is expanding -- and it's planning an open house to celebrate.
The new studio at 2313 W. Highland St. -- just two buildings from where it has been located since July 2010 -- will have double the practice space and four adjoining rooms.
More than 30 yoga classes will be offered each week, including breath work and meditation.

West End Yoga was established in May 2009, when the mother-daughter team of Cat Cappel and Leah Naylor first began conducting classes in Naylor's home, according to a prepared release.
They quickly outgrew the space, and 14 months later, moved into a rented studio at 2333 W. Highland St., with more classes and more instructors. But they soon realized they needed even more space.

For the past nine months, they have been preparing their new studio.
Cappel, 56, has studied, practiced and taught yoga since 1973. Naylor, 31, practiced yoga much of her life and became a certified yoga teacher in 2009.
West End Yoga has its schedule and level of classes available on its website. Family Yoga and other workshops are offered each month. Several payment options are available, including per session or a month of unlimited sessions. The first class is free.
Free sessions will be available at the Open House on Sunday, Jan. 29.
