Why this is called Straight Steeples and Crooked Halos.

First of all, one reason I've called it that is because I truly believe my halo is crooked. Second, I can't find the article on South Whitehall Patch anymore, but there was once an article about the five prettiest or most unique church steeples in South Whitehall Township, and the steeple on top of Jordan UCC was one of them. I had mentioned this in a committee meeting I was involved in this past summer, and someone else on the committee stated that no matter how hard they tried, the people who installed the weather vane on top of the steeple could not get it straightened up and it remains crooked though the rest of the steeple is straight. I had noticed it as I was driving home that night, and thought the crooked weather vane added character to an otherwise perfect-looking exterior. Finally, while people think I may look perfectly straight (and in a way, I am now that I had spinal fusion surgery), sometimes my life gets crooked and I'm grateful for God putting me back together and also using others to help me get back on track.
