"We have been informed by PECO that power will not be restored in time to reopen today, therefore Township offices will remain closed for the day," the Township said.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — The Springfield Township Office is closed due to a building fire, officials said Thursday morning.
The building, which supports township government functions, is located at 1001 Baltimore Pike.
At noon, township officials plan to evaluate whether it's safe to reopen on Thursday.
No other details about the fire were immediately available.
