• HBO's 'Task' To Film At Delco House (patch.com) — Springfield residents will see HBO crews in their neighborhood this week as the Emmy-nominated series "Task" films Season 2 scenes at a private home on Saxer Avenue. Township officials warn of temporary parking and traffic restrictions near two nearby schools while crews set up, shoot on Wednesday and Thursday, and clear out Friday. The crime drama, set in Delco and the Philly suburbs, is filming its entire second season in southeastern Pennsylvania.
   

• PennDOT road projects for the week of Sept. 27, 2026 (delcotimes.com) — Expect lane closures and detours on West Rolling Road and Ridge Lane in Springfield Township as Aqua replaces 4,600 feet of water main, with work stretching into fall. The same weekly PennDOT update also outlines major nearby closures on Route 420, I-95, and other township roads that could affect your commute and errands.
