2019 Berwyn Fire Company Turkey Raffle: What You Need To Know

Get your tickets for the turkey raffle early to join in on the fun and to support the Berwyn Fire Company.

BERWYN, PA — Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, and you can get your turkey for cheap while helping the folks at the Berwyn Fire Company at their annual Turkey Raffle & Silent Auction.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the fire house, 23 Bridge Ave. in Berwyn.

Attendees will be able to try their hands at the prize wheel, silent auction, and of course turkey raffle.

Raffle tickets will be sold $1, 50 cents, or 25 cents, depending on the price cap for each raffle round. After all tickets are sold, the wheel is spun and the winning ticket number is announced.

As for the silent auction, you'll be able to bid on sporting event tickets, tours of the state capitol, gift certificates to local restaurants and attractions, themed baskets, and much more.

Additionally, free door prizes such as gift certificates from local merchants and restaurants will be available, as well as 50/50 cash raffle.

While you make bids and buy raffle tickets you can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, pie and baked goods.

Those looking to help make the event a success can do the following:

  • Donate items for the silent auction
    • tickets to sporting events or family activities
    • attractions and vacation destinations
    • sponsor a night out on the town
    • provide gift cards ($25-$100) for dining out at local restaurants
    • a themed gift basket or individual gift basket items
  • Sponsor a Turkey for $25/each
  • Buy Turkey Tickets For every turkey sponsored, each will recognized at the event and on our Facebook page.
