3 New Prosecutors Join Chester County District Attorney's Office

Chester County's crime fighting team just added three new members to help crack down on illegal activities.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA – Chester County's crime-fighting team just got a bit stronger as some new prosecutors joined the District Attorney's Office recently.

According to the DA's office, three new prosecutors were sworn in Friday.

They are Stefanie Friedman, Kaitlyn Macaulay, and Scott Werner.

"Chester County is fortunate to add these three prosecutors to our team," District Attorney Tom Hogan said. "We seek the best and brightest prosecutors, and then try to make them even better."

Friedman earned degrees from Moravian College and Temple University before she served as an intern with a judge, a law firm, and a prosecutor's office.

Macaulay was a research assistant for a law professor and interned for the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts after earning degrees from University of Arizona and Villanova University.

Werner possesses degrees from Penn State and the Widener School of Law. He was an assistant district attorney in Lycoming and Tioga counties before coming to Chester County.

"Stefanie, Kaitlyn, and Scott will do their utmost to protect the good citizens of Chester County," Hogan said.

Judge Allison Bell Royer swore the three new prosecutors in.
