422 Lanes Closing Overnight In Tredyffrin Next Week

PennDOT said bridge installation work is forcing lane closures in both directions overnight next week in Tredyffrin and nearby townships.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Route 422 in Tredyffrin and nearby townships will have overnight lane closures next week, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said motorists on US Route 422 will encounter nighttime lane closures in both directions next week

The affected area is between the Oaks and U.S. 202 interchanges in Tredyffrin, Upper Providence, Lower Providence, West Norriton, and Upper Merion townships.

From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, May 13, through Thursday, May 16, right or left lane closures will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between the U.S. 202 and Trooper Road (Route 363) interchanges

Then from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16, a right lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Oaks and U.S. 202 interchanges.

PennDOT said the closures will accommodate bridge beam installation work.

Drivers should allow additional time for travel in the construction zone because backups and delays will occur.

The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
