After Hazing Controversy, Conestoga Names Full Time Athletic Director

After last school year's hazing controversy, Tredyffrin/Easttown School District has named a full time athletic director.

Tredyffrin, PA -- A new era has begun at Conestoga High School.

The Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board has named Kevin Pechin as the district's new athletic director.

Amid a hazing controversy during the past school year, Tredyffrin/Easttown's football coaching squad resigned or was fired, and the district announced they would seek a full-time athletic director.

Pechin has served as a physical education teacher at Hillside Elementary School within the district.

While teaching at Hillside, Pechin was also the head varsity baseball coach and head varsity golf coach at Conestoga High School, the district said.

Pechin also has experience as the former assistant varsity football coach, as well as the assistant varsity and head JV baseball coach.

Pechin previously served on the District Safety Committee and is a member of the Foundation for Learning in T/E (FLITE) advisory board.
