Airplane Rides for just Pennies A Pound
Airplane rides for just "Pennies A Pound" - All families are welcome at this wonderful annual community event.
Allow your family to learn about small airplanes and let your aviator dreams
come true with an airplane ride over your community! A number of pilots will be
on hand to field questions, share your passion and take you to the skies.
On Saturday, May 16, rides are available from 10am-5pm and on Sunday, May 17,
from 12noon-5pm. Please note the times for each day. Airplane loading for
planes will stop before 5:00pm.
Pricing is based on your weight, twenty cents per pound, with a $10 minimum and
$30 maximum. Some weight restrictions may apply, and planes will be flown
weather permitting.
Rides will be given at Pottstown Municipal Airport, 1149 Glasgow Street, Pottstown, PA.
Come out and join the fun! This event is sponsored and supported with
pleasure by The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The Ninety-Nines (International
Organization of Women Pilots).
