Alleged Easttown Heroin Dealer Busted In Philadelphia

Angel Luis Machado Jr. is accused of slinging heroin in the township in April this year, according to police and court records.

EASTTOWN, PA – A man suspected of dealing heroin in Easttown Township has been arrested and charged with drug and related crimes, according to Easttown Township Police.

Police said on Sept. 25, officers from Easttown Police and the Philadelphia division of the DEA arrested Angel Luis Machado Jr. at his Philadelphia home.

Machado, 27, faces two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to manufacture or deliver, felony criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance, court records show.

Machado is accused of selling heroin in the township on April 20, police said.

After a months-long investigation, Easttown Police was granted a search warrant for Machado's arrest in connection with the drug sales, police said.

Machado is being held in the Chester County Prison on $35,000 bail, court records show.

He is slated to appear for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 11, records show.
