U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan has been re-elected to Congress, according to the Associated Press.
The AP called the race for Pennsylvania's 6th congressional district around 9:15 p.m., when the Democratic incumbent held nearly three-quarters of the vote over Republican Marty Young. (See results below.)
The 6th district includes almost all of Chester County and the southeastern portion of Berks County. Houlahan, a Democrat, has represented the district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019.
Republicans have held a "trifecta" throughout President Donald Trump's second term, with the GOP holding majorities in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
All House seats and 35 Senate seats are up for election.
The 6th district election tally is available below. Election results are unofficial until certified on a later date.
