Aqua To Replace 1,200 Yards Of Water Mains In Tredyffrin

The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, with temporary blacktop covering the trench at the end of each workday, Aqua said.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania will be replacing old water mains with new mains in Tredyffrin Township, and the work will disrupt the area, officials said.

Crews will begin installing 3,600 feet of new water main on Le Boutillier Road Monday.

The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays between Eaves Spring Drive and Highgrove Lane. The trench will be covered with temporary blacktop at the end of each workday.

Access will be provided for emergency, mail and trash service.

Residents will have access to their properties, but at times will need to enter from different directions due to changing work zones, Aqua said.

Customers will be notified ahead of any planned water service interruptions.

After the new main is installed, it will be flushed, chlorinated, and tested for water quality before being placed into service. Activity on the job site may be limited during this phase.

Permanent restoration will take place in the spring.

Aqua will have an inspector on the job each day to answer your questions.
