Attempted Home Invader Still Sought By Police In Tredyffrin
Police say a suspect broke into the back door of a residence in April while the victims were in the home.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect
Officers responded to the attempted home invasion on the morning of April 3 on West Swedesford Road in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin.

The homeowner told police that at approximately 11 a.m. he heard a loud knock on his front door.
When he answered the door, the victim saw a black Mercedes SUV with dark, tinted windows idling in the driveway.

The homeowner then heard another loud noise and discovered an unknown man had broken open the back door and briefly entered the home before fleeing the scene.
Police describe the suspect as a six-foot, two-inch tall black man wearing striped sweatpants and a dark grey or black sweatshirt.
“We are asking the public’s assistance in providing any information that may assist us in locating this individual,” said Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo. “We are actively pursuing all leads in this case.”
