Bad Checks, Harassment, Identity Theft: Tredyffrin Police Reports

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- Catch up on recent crime activity in Tredyffrin over the past weeks, courtesy of the Tredyffrin Township police department. 

HARASSMENT

3/17/16 at 1000 hours – 900 block of West Valley Road in Wayne. Bernard Brennan, 60, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Harassment after he was involved in a dispute.

BAD CHECKS

3/18/16 – Chesterbrook District Court. Jeanine Craig, 31, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Bad Checks after she failed to respond to the court for non-sufficient funds.

BURGLARY

3/18/16 at 0700 hours – 600 block of Colonel Dewees Road in Wayne. Police responded to the report of a burglary discovered. The case is under investigation.

POSSESSION

3/20/16 at 1159 hours – Route 202. Karl Sauer, 19, of West Chester, PA was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

WARRANT ARREST

3/21/16 at 0948 hours – Heather Lynn Shore, 34, of Lansdale, PA turned herself in to police after a warrant was issued for her arrest following a theft investigation.

ASSAULT

3/24/16 at 1250 hours – 800 block of Cassatt Road in Berwyn. Jefte Rivera, 38, of Warminster, PA was charged with Harassment after he was involved in a dispute.

WARRANT ARREST

3/25/16 at 1000 hours – Chesterbrook District Court. Jacob Tausendfreundt, 44, of Philadelphia, PA was taken into custody by police for a bail violation. He was later transported to Chester County Prison by Constables.

IDENTITY THEFT

3/25/16 at 1140 hours – Atwater Drive in Malvern, PA. The caller reported that the company’s files were compromised via an email phishing scam.

ASSAULT

3/25/16 at 1900 hours – Home Properties of Devon. Zhengping Fan, 58, of Devon, PA was charged with Simple Assault, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after he was involved in a domestic dispute.

POSSESSION

3/26/16 at 1534 hours – Route 252. Brian Devlin, 31, of Downingtown, PA was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
