Berwyn Church Collecting Electronics, Medical Supplies

The Berwyn United Methodist Church is hosting a collection event this weekend. See here to find out what items you can donate.

BERWYN, PA — The Berwyn United Methodist Church is hosting a collection event that will send donated items to non-profit organizations that need computers and a group that provides medical supplies and equipment to under developed regions.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, the church is hosting collections of medical supplies and used computers.

You can drop off items for donation in the rear parking lot of the church.

PCs, laptops, monitors, mouses, keyboards, modems, routers, printers, cables and anything else computer related will be accepted.

All equipment to be taken to the Mechanicsburg Computer Ministry for refurbishing then donated to non-profit organizations that need computers.

Hard drives will be completely wiped prior to re-use.

Equipment that can’t reused will be recycled.

TV’s will not be accepted.

Additionally, the church is collecting new or gently used medical equipment and unopened medical supplies in support of Project CURE, which delivers donated medical supplies and equipment to under-developed regions.

  • walkers
  • crutches
  • canes
  • shower
  • raised toilet seats
  • commodes
  • splints
  • braces
  • ace bandages
  • ankle
  • wrist bandages
  • compression stockings
  • blood pressure cuffs
  • glucometers
  • nebulizers
  • portable oxygen concentrators
  • CPAPs
  • unopened ostomy
  • 4x4 dressings
  • urinary catheters
  • sterile IV supplies
  • alcohol wipes
  • incontinence supplies
  • unopened nutritional supplements.

Medications and needles will not be accepted.
