Berwyn Farmers' Market To Celebrate Tomatopalooza, AppleFest And More

Now in its fourth season, the market has a range of special events on the calendar, including a tomato-themed celebration this weekend.

BERWYN, PA — The Berwyn Farmers' Market is planning a full slate of special events, including a celebration for one of the region's most significant fruits this Sunday.

Now in its fourth season, the market takes place from 9 a.m. to noon each Sunday at Bronze Plaza (511 Old Lancaster Road), next to Handel's Ice Cream.

Several themed events are on the market's 2026 calendar, beginning with Tomatopalooza — a tomato-themed market celebrating peak tomato season and National Farmers Market Week.

Tomatopalooza will feature fresh local tomato samples, live music, giveaways, children's crafts and activities and more.

Vendors will also showcase tomato-centric specialties, including tomato-goat cheese galettes, locally made tomato sauces, jams and toppings, chef-created pasta dishes, stuffed meatballs, pickled tomatoes and gluten-free options.

The market is also planning a series of themed Sundays over the coming months, including:

  • Back to School: Aug. 30
  • AppleFest: Sept. 27
  • SpookFest: Oct. 25
  • Pie Fest: Nov. 8
  • Gratitude Market: Nov. 22
  • Holiday Market: Dec. 6

Each Sunday features a mix of 25 to 30 vendors from a network of more than 70 local farmers, food producers, artisans and makers participating throughout the season.

The market also includes live music on the first Sunday of each month, a children's "Fun Zone" with crafts and activities, and weekly education guests.

The Berwyn Farmers' Market is held rain or shine every Sunday through Dec. 20, except Nov. 29.
