Berwyn Fire Co. Responds To House Fire Thursday
The Berwyn Fire Company joined efforts in Upper Merion to combat a house fire Thursday afternoon.

The Berwyn Fire Company joined the firefighting efforts of Swedeland and Radnor fire company crews at a house fire in Upper Merion Township Thursday afternoon, according to the fire company.
The Swedeland and Randor fire companies responded to a house fire on the 500 block of Hughes Road at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. The home is close to the Tredyffrin Township Panhandle off of Weadley Road, the fire company said.
Upon arrival, crews found a small fire on the exterior of the home's second floor.

The Berwyn Fire Company was called to join the efforts at about 12:55 p.m.
The fire was placed under control shortly and the scene was clear by about 2 p.m., according to the fire company.

Crews from King of Prussia and Gladwyne fire companies also responded to the scene.
